Lots of photos in this post. We took out all the cabinet doors and drawers, making sure to label each door and drawer so we know where everything goes when we put it all back. As you can see, the wood veneer that is on the doors and drawers is peeling off. We decided that we are going to make all new doors out of plywood but keep the original hardware. We need to clean the rust off the hardware and then give it a coat of paint.
This is where the trouble began. The rest of the doors came off easily. This set on the other hand leads into the storage box and has some major water damage. So we decided to rip them out completely. We will be replacing that bad wood with a solid piece of OSB that we have and closing off the access to the storage box from the trailer.
I labeled all the spots where the doors and drawers went and then took these photos so when it is time to put the new ones back in we will know where everything goes!
