Kim and Dave both had to work during the day so we took our time this morning and slept in. After we ate breakfast we headed into Denver with Toby. The campground we were staying at was about an hour North of Denver. We decided to stop at a brewery in town called The Denver Beer Company since they had an outdoor patio that was dog friendly. It was super hot out today so luckily we found a spot in the shade. They also had some misters going outside which helped.
They had games at the brewery and Kyle quickly found one of his favorites for us to play. After a few rounds of Battleship we headed to Kim and Dave's apartment.

Either he is just really exhausted from the heat and excitement, or we gave him too many treats...

Poor Toby. We think he is getting exhausted from the trip, he has been sleep sitting a lot lately. Just a few more days puppy and we will be back in California!
We met Kim at their apartment and dropped Toby off to hang out with Maverick (dog) and Thumper (cat) while we went to dinner. Toby and Mav have met before, but he had never met Thumper before. They weren't too interested in each other so we felt it would be fine to leave them there. After dinner, Kim and Dave gave us a walking tour of all of Downtown Denver. We were able to catch the sunset as we walked over the bridge that crossed the highway.
