Dates: August 17th - August 20th, 2017
Overview: We loved this campground. The whole place is very lush with large trees all over. There are tons of grassy areas and trails to explore. The campground itself is on Lake Ontario but if you want to go to the beach you need to go next door to the state park. The campsites have electricity only but there are plenty of fresh water stations scattered throughout the campground. Along with the fresh water stations there are also multiple dump stations, one was located right near our campsite. Our campsite was a grassy pad that was fairly level. But as we walked around the campground there are some spots that seem hit or miss on the levelness. There are spots that have a water front view, but honestly you can't go wrong with any spot in this campground it seems. All the spots are very spacious, and the spots in the 200/300 area seemed more private or secluded than in the 100 area. The bathrooms seemed nice. Free hot water in clean bathhouses. They also have laundry available and a very small camp store. Our campsite had a fire ring and picnic table, they also have firewood available onsite if you need any.
